Wisconsin cancels open practice in Milwaukee due to weather
Weather has forced Wisconsin to make some changes to its practice schedule.
The Badgers had scheduled a trip to Milwaukee for a one-day open practice at Custer Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 11. But due to a strong chance of thunderstorms in the area, Wisconsin was forced to cancel, the school announced on Wednesday.

On UWBadgers.com, the school stated that due to the logistics of traveling with a high number of people and a large amount of equipment, Wisconsin was forced to make a decision on the matter Wednesday.
The school contacted several media outlets and meteorologists and all of the forecasts for Thursday afternoon called for thunderstorms.
