Injuries are deflating.

Sometimes, depending on who exactly gets hurt and can’t play can crush a team’s chances at winning a game or something bigger down the road. No. 15 Wisconsin is traveling to take on No. 12 Michigan Saturday night and ESPN’s College GameDay was in Ann Arbor to start the morning.

The primetime clash is featuring two B1G teams with national title hopes. This game in particular, of course, is huge, as both teams have one loss already.

Prior to the game taking place, Wisconsin got bad news regarding one of the studs in its secondary:

Dixon, a senior, is one of the leaders of the Badgers defense. Many Wisconsin defenders from a season ago either graduated or left for the NFL. Dixon was one who stayed and is a player that can be counted on.

Unfortunately for the Badgers, he won’t be counted on against the Wolverines. Look for Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson to potentially try and take advantage of a depleted secondary.
