The Badgers received a bit of a scare on Monday when it was announced that DE Isaiahh Loudermilk was held out of practice due to an injury.

The junior defender is expected to be a regular contributor for Wisconsin’s defensive front entering 2019. Loudermilk recorded 15 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and a sack in 2018 but was slowed by injuries that forced him to miss four games.

Thankfully, the injury Loudermilk was held out of practice for on Monday does not appear to be related to the issues he battled in 2018. Jeff Potrykus with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Loudermilk was held out due to a minor arm injury. The injuries he battled last season were to his knee and ankle.

Loudermilk’s injury is not expected to be serious, so he should be back out at practice before long. Still, it is definitely something to monitor as the Badgers progress through fall camp.
