The season has come to an end for one Wisconsin defensive lineman.

On Thursday, Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported that Badgers nose tackle Olive Sagapolu will miss the remainder of the year with an arm injury. He played in eight games for Wisconsin this season, totaling 23 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.

Sagapolu suffered the injury against Northwestern.

During his career in Madison, Sagapolu has appeared in 44 career games, making 61 tackles and 10 tackles for loss. He’s also totaled six sacks.

Sagapolu has been a key part of Wisconsin’s defensive line over the years but won’t be able to finish out the season with the injury.

The Badgers have been bitten frequently by the injury bug this season on both sides of the football, which has led to some struggles on the field this season. Wisconsin was outmatched in a game against Michigan and struggled with Northwestern.

Wisconsin is 6-3 on the season and travels to Penn State on Saturday.
