Bryson Williams is a nose-tackle for Wisconsin. He has helped the Badgers’ defense reach unthinkable success this season — not as a team, but as a defense.

Williams is also originally from the state of Nebraska. He, of course, was looking forward to playing in Lincoln as a member of the Badgers so that he could play in front of friends and family.

Unfortunately, it was announced Monday morning that Williams will be out for the Badgers-Huskers game due to a knee injury suffered against Iowa this past weekend:

Williams, a sophomore, has appeared in three games this season and has made six tackles. Last year as a freshman, Williams recorded 12 tackles in eight games.

Wisconsin-Nebraska is scheduled for a noon ET kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Lincoln. The game will be televised on BTN.
