Wisconsin had some rough losses in the early portion of the college basketball season. Fortunately, the Badgers have responded with Greg Gard’s squad rattling off 5 straight wins, punctuated by Saturday’s massive upset of No. 3 Marquette.

After early-season losses to Tennessee and Providence, the Badgers have responded with a 24-point win over then-No. 24 Virginia and Saturday’s 11-point upset of Marquette. Fans in attendance also had a raucous moment as that game went final.

With the final seconds ticking off the clock, fans in Madison stormed the court to celebrate the top-5 win. Soon after, “Jump Around” began blaring inside the Kohl Center to punctuate the scene beautifully.

Max Klesmit powered the Badgers with a game-high 21 points and a 5-for-10 shooting effort from 3-point range. Steven Crowl chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds while Tyler Wahl and AJ Storr also scored in double-digits.

The theme of the win was the rebounding dominance of Wisconsin as the Badgers dominated the glass 38 to 23. That effort included 15 offensive rebounds as Wisconsin moved to 6-2 overall on the season.
