The No. 11-ranked Wisconsin Badgers traveled to face No. 8 Michigan State today in what is the top-ranked matchup taking place in the Big Ten. The Badgers had an early 7-3 lead before Michigan State had the ball early in the second quarter.

Spartan quarterback Tyler O’Connor was forced in a throwing situation on third-and-six and Wisconsin cornerback Sojourn Shelton made a play which led to another Badgers score.

Following Shelton’s interception came a one-yard touchdown run from Corey Clement.

The Badgers would miss the ensuing extra point, but lead Michigan State 13-3 midway through the second quarter.
