Just a few weeks prior to the start of the 2017 season, and right in the heart of fall camp, Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst wanted to give his team a little extra motivation. But he wanted someone else to deliver the message.
On Friday, the Badgers got a visit from legendary Green Bay receiver Donald Driver, who delivered a pretty special message to the team. The video is a bit lengthy, but it’s well worth it, especially for the Wisconsin and Packers fans out there:
"What legacy do you want to leave?"@Donald_Driver80 stopped by and had a great message for the #Badgers. https://t.co/1rS3rMIWn6

Driver played his entire 14-year NFL career in Green Bay, which stretch from 1999-2012. He finished his career with 743 receptions, 10,137 yards and 61 touchdowns. He was also a member of the Packers’ Super Bowl XLV championship team and was a four-time Pro-Bowl selection.
Out of Alcorn State, Driver was drafted in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft and was the 213th pick overall.
A large part of Driver’s message to the team was overcoming obstacles, making the choice to be a better player and making the most out of the opportunity.
