Wisconsin’s season started with a college football blue blood, and it will end with a college football blue blood.

The Badgers will square off with USC in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.

It will mark the first time that Wisconsin will play in the Holiday Bowl. The program will also be looking to break an 0-6 mark against the Trojans. The teams haven’t faced off since 1966.

It will also be the first time in which the Badgers are playing in a postseason game in California that isn’t the Rose Bowl.

Wisconsin ended the season by earning arguably its top win of the season at Minnesota. The Badgers will take on a USC squad that fell to Stanford in the Pac-12 championship and finished with an 8-5 mark.

The Badgers boast a 14-game bowl streak, which is the longest streak in the B1G.

Wisconsin was one of 10 B1G teams to earn bowl berths.
