Wisconsin men’s basketball (9-2) is now looking for another team to play on Thursday Dec. 23rd.

The game had to be cancelled after 4-7 Morgan State was unable to travel due to COVID-19 complications. The men’s basketball account on Twitter confirmed the news on Monday afternoon. The game will still be played at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin, if one is to be scheduled.

The game was supposed to be played on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.

Wisconsin is 7-1 in its last 8 games. Its most recent loss was against No. 21 Ohio State in Columbus. The Badgers lost 73-55.

The last game the Badgers played was a 71-68 win over Nicholls State without Johnny Davis, who was battling a Non-Covid related illness.

No. 24 Wisconsin will now have to wait and see who its next opponent will be. The time of the game will depend on what team the Badgers will be playing, and is left up for debate at this time.
