Wisconsin bolstered its recruiting class this weekend, adding a highly-recruited linebacker to its 2019 list of commitments.

Saturday, 3-star linebacker Spencer Lytle out of St. John Bosco High School in California gave his verbal pledge to the Badgers. He became the 13th member of Wisconsin’s class.

Lytle made his announcement via Twitter.

Lytle had 41 offers according to 247Sports, including offers from five B1G schools. In addition to Wisconsin, Lytle had offers from Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Nebraska.

Lytle is one of the top 30 linebackers in the 2019 recruiting class and is ranked as one of the top 75 players out of California.

Wisconsin currently owns the 26th-ranked recruiting class of 2019, and ranks seventh in the B1G.
