Wisconsin has named its next strength and conditioning coach.
Shaun Snee will replace Ross Kolodziej as the director of football strength and conditioning ahead of the 2021 season. Snee spent the previous six years with the Badgers as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in the Badgers’ football program.

Prior to Snee’s arrival at Wisconsin, he spent two seasons (2012-13) on Paul Chryst’s staff at Pitt. He was the strength and conditioning graduate assistant with the Panthers before taking a job at UMass in 2014 at UMass, where he worked with mutliple sports.
Wisconsin confirmed Snee’s promotion with a post on social media.
The change comes as Kolodziej was named a defensive line coach for the Badgers ahead of the upcoming season. There’s been some shifting on the Wisconsin staff during the two months of the offseason, but Chryst has been mostly hiring from within to fill any vacancies.
Last season, the Badgers finished the year with a 4-3 record.
