Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor wasn’t able to play much of the second quarter against Michigan. It didn’t matter, though, as the Badgers absolutely dominated the Wolverines with and without Taylor in the first half Saturday.

Wisconsin leads Michigan, 28-0, at halftime.

Taylor scored the first two touchdowns on his way to 143 rushing yards on 12 carries. His second scoring run was a 72-yard scamper where Taylor went absolutely untouched.

In the second quarter, Taylor experienced cramps and played very little, and yet, Wisconsin continued to dominate. The Badgers defense hasn’t allowed points in their first 10 quarters of the season, and Michigan had just 96 yards in the first half.

Wisconsin also held Michigan to three first downs, 0-for-4 on third down and nine rushing yards. The Badgers outgained the Wolverines, 312-96, in the first half, and additionally, Wisconsin forced two takeaways. It all added up to the Badgers controlling the clock for more than 23 minutes in the first two quarters as well.

If things don’t improve for Michigan quickly, this one is going to get ugly soon.
