Wisconsin lands 2020 commitment from in-state LB
Wisconsin received its sixth commitment of the 2020 class on Friday, this one from an in-state linebacker.
Cole Dakovich, a native of Waukesha, Wisc., gave his verbal pledge to the Badgers on Friday morning. He made his announcement via Twitter.
“I would like to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin,” Dakovich wrote.

The Badgers currently have the nation’s 11th-best recruiting class nationally in 2020 and rank third in the B1G.
Almost all of Wisconsin’s 2020 commits are in-state products. Dakovich became the fifth Wisconsin native of the six players to give their verbal pledge. The only out-of-state player currently in the class is 3-star offensive guard Dylan Barrett, who is from Saint Charles, Ill.
Dakovich, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound linebacker currently doesn’t have any star rankings, according to 247Sports.
