A three-star recruit out of Miamisburg High School in Ohio, McGohan initially committed to the University of Cincinnati in Jan. 2022. McGohan, however, de-committed from the Bearcats in Dec. 2022 and committed to LSU a week later.
Wisconsin capped its regular season with a 7-5 record. Standing at 5-5 at one point during the season, the Badgers won their last two games of the season to become bowl eligible.
The Badgers will face No. 13 LSU in the ReliaQuest Bowl at noon on New Years Day. The game will be televised on ESPN.
The Tigers, led by Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels, went 9-3 during the regular season. After a 3-2 start to the season, LSU went on to win 6 of its next 7 games.
