A top 35 linebacker in the 2020 recruiting class is headed to Madison.

Monday evening, the Badgers received a verbal commitment from Jordan Turner, a three-star outside linebacker out of Farmington, Michigan. His pledge gives Wisconsin 10 members in its 2020 class, which currently ranks eighth in the B1G.

Turner made his announcement via Twitter, posting a photo along with the short message “100% committed!!”

Turner is a three-star talent but is listed as the No. 34 outside linebacker in the 2020 class. He’s also tabbed as a top 20 player out of Michigan and is ranked No. 539 overall.

Per 247Sports, Turner was a highly-recruited linebacker who received plenty of interest from Power Five programs. In addition to Wisconsin, he also had offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern and Rutgers out of the B1G.

With Turner’s commitment, Wisconsin now owns the nation’s 33rd ranked recruiting class.
