Four-star weak-side defensive end TJ Bollers is heading to Wisconsin.

Bollers set his commitment date for Thursday and settled on Wisconsin after receiving 20 offers on the recruiting front. The native of Tiffin, Iowa, is ranked as the No. 8 weak-side defensive end in the 2021 recruiting cycle and the No. 2 player out of his home state.

Bollers used a video on Twitter to make his announcement. He is now the 14th player to join Wisconsin’s 2021 recruiting class.

In three seasons at Clear Creek Amana, Bollers has totaled 90 tackles, 20 for loss and 10 sacks. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound lineman is ranked as the No. 147 player nationally, regardless of position.

Allen Trieu of 247Sports writes of Bollers:

Runs well and shows good foot speed in chase situations. Has played on offense as well. Is comfortable in space, and ball skills can translate over to defense if he needs to drop into coverage. Does a nice job being violent with his hands. That will be even more so as he gets stronger. Has good quickness off the snap.

Bollers had several high-level offers, but picked Wisconsin over Alabama, Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Florida, Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas A&M, among others.

With Bollers’ commitment, Wisconsin’s 2021 class ranks 16th nationally and sixth in the B1G.
