Wisconsin LB Leo Chenal announces his plans for the 2022 season
Wisconsin linebacker Leo Chenal is heading to the 2022 NFL Draft. As a junior, he could have come back for at least another year, but decided against it.
Chenal has been a leader on the Wisconsin defense for the past few years. He played in 28 games for the Badgers during his career. Chenal also had 172 total tackles, 11 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery in his time in Madison.
Here’s what Chenal had to say following his decision:
“To my teammates, I’ve been blessed and honored to play alongside you all on Death Row,” said Chenal. “I will cherish every summer workout, conditioning, practice, and game we all shared! Those memories will be with my forever and you all know I’m only one call away! I want to send a special thank you to Gburg! The town that molded me! That small town taught me work ethic and what hard work truly means. With that being said, I will be forgoing my remaining eligibility and entering the 2022 NFL Draft. Badger Nation I can’t thank you enough for the support!”

Madison, Wisconsin will definitely miss the impact this linebacker has had over the years on defense.
