It has been a difficult 2021 season for Wisconsin (2-3) as the Badgers tough losses to three ranked opponents in No. 19 Penn State, No. 12 Notre Dame, and No. 14 Michigan. They have also experienced some tough injuries including junior running Isaac Guerendo, who is listed as out for the year just before their matchup versus the Army Black Knights.

Last week, Guerendo was a late scratch as he suffered a left leg injury in warmups shortly before the 24-0 road win over Illinois. In four games played this season, Guerendo has rushed for 160 yards and 1 touchdown on 23 carries.

His best performance was against Eastern Michigan when he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on 4 carries.

Guerendo is a talented back in a loaded running back group for Wisconsin’s offense that ranks 31st in the nation in rushing yards per game (206.8).
