Less than an hour after Luke Fickell was named the head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers, the team faces the fallout of players like 3-star offensive tackle Christopher Terek. On Sunday, Terek took to his Twitter page to announce his decommitment from Wisconsin and make a hard commitment to Notre Dame.
After much consideration, I have decided to decommit from The University of Wisconsin. Thank you to coach Bostad and the entire Wisconsin staff for the opportunity. With that being said I am blessed to announce I have committed to the University of Notre Dame! #GoIrish pic.twitter.com/TvOocnZ6Ur

Terek is a 3-star offensive tackle from Glen Ellyn, Illinois where he is the 39th-rated interior offensive lineman and the 8th-rated player from the state of Illinois in the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite.
Terek has 25 offers to play collegiate football, including Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin being the programs that he has visited. Terek also has offers from Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Minnesota and Missouri.
It is not officially known at this time if he decommitted due to Wisconsin not naming interim head coach and defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard not being named the full-time head coach.
Wisconsin finished the regular season with an overall record of 6-6 with a 4-3 record under Leonhard.
