Wisconsin opened as a 10-point favorite at most books in its matchup at Nebraska this weekend.

However, that number has dipped considerably with the news that quarterbacks Graham Mertz and Chase Wolf may be unable to play due to COVID-19.

DraftKings and PointsBet now have the Badgers favored by 3.5 points while Circa is all the way down to 1.5 points. That’s according to a summary by VegasInsider.

The total on this game has also shifted from as high as 59 points early in the week down to as low as 48.5, depending on where you look.

Even for the quarterback position, these are huge shifts in the both the spread and the total.

If Mertz and Wolf are unable to play, it puts the Badgers in a tough spot at quarterback. Last year’s starter Jack Coan is also out indefinitely with a foot injury.

Wisconsin would be down to fourth stringer Danny Vanden Boom, who has thrown one collegiate pass — a three-yard completion vs. New Mexico in 2018.

Expect this line to continue to move throughout the week as we learn more about Wisconsin’s roster situation.

The Badgers and Huskers will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
