Furtney is experienced with 43 career appearances during his career at Wisconsin. He appeared in all 12 games during the 2022 season after 10 appearances and 1 start during the 2021 season. Coming out of high school, Furtney was a 3-star prospect via the 2018 recruiting class.
While the portal reversal might be uncommon, it is not entirely unseen. We will see what that holds in store for Furtney during the 2023 season.
