Teams are starting to make a heavy run in the recruiting trail for the 2022 recruiting class.

Wisconsin received the 13th commitment overall for the cycle in linebacker Aidan Vaughan from Walled Lake Western High School in Walled Lake, Michigan. Vaughan is the second player from the state of Michigan to commit to Wisconsin for 2022.

Although he is not rated by 247Sports Composite, Vaughan is a 3-star recruit, the 63rd rated linebacker, and the 20th rated prospect out of the state of Michigan by 247Sports. Vaughan has 13 total offers with other offers from Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Florida State, Colorado, Louisville, Syracuse, and West Virginia.

Vaughan made the announcement on his Twitter page:

“Thank you to all of the coaches that have offered me the opportunity to be a part of their program and pursue my dreams at the next level,” wrote Vaughan. “And lastly, I want to thank the Wisconsin coaching staff and Badger Nation for accepting me with open arms into their family. With that being said, I am extremely excited to announce that I am 100% committed to continue my academic and athletic career at The University of Wisconsin.”
