Wisconsin landed a commitment for the class of 2023 after hosting a prospect for an official visit.

Last Thursday, 3-star ATH Collin Dixon announced on social media that he was on an official visit to Madison. That visit paid off.

On Monday, Dixon announced his commitment to the Badgers. Wisconsin edged out other B1G offers from Illinois, Purdue and Indiana among other offers from Kentucky, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Duke.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 205 lbs., Dixon is a 3-star recruit and is rated the No. 27 prospect out of Ohio by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. Dixon is also the No. 78 Athlete nationally for the class of 2023.

Dixon’s commitment brings Wisconsin’s 2023 recruiting class up to 8 total for the cycle. That group is currently ranked No. 32 nationally and is looking to rise up the team rankings.
