Wisconsin has had a successful Monday, picking up two commitments for the class of 2022.

The first came from JT Seagraves, an in-state tight end who committed early Monday afternoon. Seagraves became the third commit of the class with all three hailing as in-state recruits.

The second commitment of the day and fourth overall for the class came a bit later. This time, it came from Cade Yacamelli, an athlete for 2022 out of Harrison City, Pennsylvania.

As a junior, Yacamelli posted over 1,200 all-purpose yards, including over 700 yards rushing. Listed at 6-feet and 195 lbs., Yacamelli is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 21 prospect overall out of Pennsylvania.
Yacamelli held offers from Air Force, Army, Navy, Harvard, and Yale, among others.

After a slow start, Wisconsin is beginning to gain some traction in compiling the 2022 recruiting class. Yacamelli becomes the third prospect to commit in the last two days with more likely to follow now that the recruiting dead period is over.
