Wisconsin and new head coach Luke Fickell have been busy this offseason. In particular, the Badgers have added to their receiving corps. The latest is Quincy Burroughs, who reunites with Fickell after spending his true freshman season with the Bearcats. He did not appear in any games last season.

Burroughs picked the Badgers over offers from South Florida, Georgia Tech, Memphis, and others. The former 3-star recruit caught 32 passes for 454 yards and 3 touchdowns out of Jacksonville Raines High School.

Burroughs is the 11th pickup for Fickell from the transfer portal. Wisconsin added another player from Cincinnati in fellow former Bearcat WR Will Pauling this week.

The Badgers moved on from longtime head coach Paul Chryst and interim head coach Jim Leonhard after last season. Fickell was on the sidelines for Wisconsin’s bowl victory over Oklahoma State in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.

The Badgers finished with a 7-6 record, good for 5th place in the B1G West. Fickell is hoping for a fast start in Madison with his new additions.
