Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook won't return vs. Rutgers
Wisconsin will play the remainder of the game against Rutgers without starting quarterback Alex Hornibrook.
Brian Mason, the assistant director of athletic communications for Wisconsin, issued the update. He cited the reason for the quarterback’s departure as a head issue. Hornibrook missed the Badgers’ game against Northwestern while in concussion protocol. He had been cleared earlier this week.
Prior to leaving the game, Hornibrook had completed 7-of-16 passes for 92 yards and had two interceptions.
