Wisconsin RB Braelon Allen has accomplished something that hasn't been done in program history in 20 years
Wisconsin is one of the hottest teams in the B1G right now, riding a 5-game winning streak after dismantling Rutgers 52-3 on Saturday.
Coincidentally, during those five games, 17-year old true freshman running back Braelon Allen has topped 100-yards rushing. The run of games topping the century mark in yards on the ground made Allen the first Badger since Anthony Davis to have as many on the box score.
#Badgers Braelon Allen is the first UW player with five consecutive games of at least 100 rushing yards since….Anthony Davis in 2001. AD was a redshirt frosh that season. Damn.

Allen finished the game with 129 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown against the Scarlet Knights.
Davis finished his career in Madison with 4,676 yards on 908 carries and 42 touchdowns. Allen has a way to go, but he’s definitely off to a good start.
The Badgers host Northwestern next weekend, with a kickoff set for 11:00 AM on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
