Jonathan Taylor has spent the past three seasons compiling one of the best careers in college football history. Now, he is headed to terrorize defenders in the NFL.
The All-American and superstar running back for the Badgers has been a force since his time in Madison. After arriving as a freshman in 2017, Taylor rushed for over 1,900 yards and compiled over 2,000 yards of total offense.
In 2019, Taylor rushed for 2,000 yards for a second consecutive season, hitting that mark in the Rose Bowl loss to Oregon. On Friday, Taylor released a video message to his fans.
He shared his thanks and gratitude to everyone involved and declared he will be entering the 2020 NFL Draft:

For his career, Taylor finishes with 6,174 yards rushing, over 6,500 total yards of offense, and 55 total touchdowns. Taylor recorded three top-10 finishes in Heisman Trophy voting but never finished higher than fifth. In addition to being a superstar player, Taylor has been an exceptional person during his time with the Badgers.
Congratulations to Taylor for a phenomenal career, and best of luck to a special Badger as he moves on to the NFL!
