The Rose Bowl is under way. And, goodness, do we have ourselves a ballgame already.
Oregon won the toss and wanted to receive the opening kickoff. What did they do?
Go on a 12-play, methodical drive that ended in seven points. How would Wisconsin respond?

Well, the Badgers weren’t as methodical. They were absurdly efficient, however. Take a look as wide receiver Aron Cruickshank took back the Ducks’ kickoff 95 yards to the end zone:

And just like that, we have a 7-7 game. Oregon got the ball again and Wisconsin got an immediate interception on the very next play.
Momentum has certainly shifted.
The 95-yard return marked a bowl-longest return in Wisconsin’s history:

It was also the first kickoff returned for a touchdown in the Rose Bowl since 2003 and the second-longest ever in the bowl’s history:
