One of the greatest players in Wisconsin basketball history will finally get his due — and now we know exactly when.

Michael Finley’s No. 24 will be raised to the rafters when Wisconsin hosts Michigan on Feb. 20, according to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The news of Finley’s jersey retirement was officially announced three weeks ago.

Finley, who played at Wisconsin from 1991-95, was the first Badger to amass over 2,000 points for the program. He was selected with the 21st pick in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns and spent 15 seasons in the NBA, most notably with the Dallas Mavericks (1996-2005). Finley was selected to the All-Star team twice and captured an NBA title with the San Antonio Spurs in 2007.

He is currently the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Mavericks.

Wisconsin tips off the season with a home game vs. St. Francis (BKN) on Nov. 9 and its first B1G contest is Dec. 8 vs. visiting Indiana (7 p.m. EST/BTN).
