Wisconsin is continuing to put in the work on the recruiting trail while trying to build out the class of 2023. The Badgers will also hope to get more good news later this month.

To open June, Wisconsin was listed as a finalist for 3-star Edge prospect Jordan Mayer. Then, on Tuesday, Mayer revealed he will reveal his college commitment on June 27.

Mayer included the Badgers on his list of 4 finalists alongside Cincinnati, West Virginia and Virginia Tech. He also held offers from Georgia Tech, Duke, Rutgers, Boston College and Vanderbilt, among others.

Mayer is listed at 6-foot-4 and 235 lbs. out of Clairton, Pennsylvania. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Mayer is a 3-star recruit and the No. 20 player out of Pennsylvania for the class of 2023. He’s also rated the No. 76 Edge prospect nationally.
