Wisconsin TE goes down with injury in fall practices
Wisconsin is looking to replace veteran tight end Jake Ferguson who is off to the NFL. Last season, Ferguson led the team with 46 catches and was 2nd on the Badgers with 450 receiving yards.
Unfortunately, a member of Wisconsin’s tight end room went down with an injury in practice Wednesday. According to Jeff Potrykus with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Cam Large went down with an injury and had to be helped off the field.
The injury has been announced as a right leg injury. That is worrisome after Large went down with a season-ending right knee injury after appearing in 3 games during the 2021 season.
Just to add: The injury Large suffered last season was to his right knee. He was wearing a brace today when he went down. https://t.co/cYG0yNk2fF

Large was a 3-star prospect for Wisconsin during the 2020 recruiting class. He was the No. 29 TE nationally for the cycle and redshirted before seeing action in 2021.
