Wisconsin will be without the services of one of their top tight ends for the remainder of the season.

On Thursday, Jesse Temple of The Athletic reported that Zander Neuville was injured again this week and will be out for the rest of the year. The tight end had just recently come off the injury report.

According to the latest injury report from Wisconsin, Neuville injured his left knee earlier this week.

Neuville played in three games for the Badgers this season, catching one pass for three yards. The senior tight end was used more as a blocker than a threat in passing game.

It’s a particularly tough situation for Neuville, who already used his redshirt season in 2014. He could still apply for a sixth-year of eligibility from the NCAA, though it’s unclear whether or not that option will be pursued.

Last season, Neuville caught nine passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns for the Badgers.
