For a second straight game, Lorne Bowman II will not be available for Wisconsin. Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported the news on Saturday afternoon.

Bowman did not travel to Piscataway for Wisconsin’s Saturday night showdown against Rutgers. He also missed Wednesday’s game against Minnesota with a non-COVID related illness.

Wisconsin defeated Minnesota 68-67.

Bowman has played in 22 games for the Badgers this season, averaging more than 10 minutes per contest. He’s also averaging 3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

Saturday night’s game is key for Wisconsin as the Badgers try to keep their spot atop the B1G standings heading into the final weekend of the season.

Tip-off between Wisconsin and Rutgers is set for 6 p.m. ET. The game will air on Big Ten Network.
