Wisconsin backup guard Lorne Bowman II will not be available for Wednesday night’s game against Minnesota.

The Badgers announced that Bowman will not play in the rivalry bout because of a non-COVID illness. He is the second player for Wisconsin who will be unavailable for the game.

Jahcobi Neath will also not be participating in Wisconsin’s game against Minesota, serving a 1-game suspension for his involvement in a fight that broke out after Sunday’s game against Michigan.

Bowman has appeared in 22 games this season, averaging more than 10 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-2 freshman is averaging 3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game on the year for the Badgers.

Neath has played in 17 contests and is averaging 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET with the game airing on Big Ten Network.
