Wisconsin transfer pledge Jahsiah Galvan has flipped his commitment to Stanford.

He committed to Wisconsin days before Christmas, but backed off that pledge on Sunday. Galvan was one of five transfer linebackers in the Badgers’ 2024 recruiting class, so it’ll be curious to see if Wisconsin chooses to try and replace him or roll with what it currently has.

Galvan spent the last two seasons with Northern Iowa, where he recorded 81 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, one interception, and one forced fumble in 13 appearances. He played in only two games for the Panthers in 2022 before emerging as a key piece of the defense this past season.

For his efforts, he landed an All-MVFC Fifth Team selection and a Freshman All-American honor from Phil Steele.

The Wisconsin transfer class now stands at 12 known commitments. It’s still a group that ranks top-15 nationally. Other linebackers in the class include Tackett Curtis (USC), Leon Lowery (Syracuse), Sebastian Cheeks (North Carolina), and Jaheim Thoma (Arkansas).
