Wisconsin volleyball is moving on to the Elite 8 after beating Penn State 3-2. The Badgers battled before eventually beating the Nittany Lions in 15-8 in the final set.
Wisconsin took an early 2-0 lead after beating Penn State in the first two sets 25-21 and 25-19. Penn State rallied and came back in the third and fourth sets to even up the game at 2-2 despite Wisconsin’s best efforts.

Everything came down to the final set of the game. Needing to finish off its opponent, Wisconsin quickly jumped out to an early 6-1 lead thanks to some tough plays and the support from the fans.
The Nittany Lions were not able to keep the ball in bounds after some tough blocks at the net from Wisconsin.

After a scare from Penn State, Wisconsin is heading to the Elite 8. The Badgers will play Pitt Saturday for the chance to advance to the Final Four. Pitt beat Florida 3-1 on Thursday to punch its ticket.
That game starts at 8 p.m. ET on will be shown on ESPN+.
