Wisconsin without key starting OL for trip to Ohio State, per report
Wisconsin is set to take on a big road game in Week 4 as the Badgers take on No. 3 Ohio State without starting left tackle Jack Nelson. Nelson is out for the game, sources tell Jeff Potrykus of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Have confirmed 24/7 report #Badgers LT Jack Nelson is out. We reported Monday Trey Wedig was expected to start at RT, with Tanor Bortolini at RG. With Nelson out, look for Logan Brown to fill in at LT. Brown played on that side before this season.

Last season, Nelson started all 13 games of the 2021 college football season at guard as a redshirt freshman. He was moved to left tackle during the off-season.
With Nelson out for the game versus Ohio State, junior Logan Brown is expected to make the start at left tackle. Brown had played in all 13 games for Wisconsin last season and all 7 games in the 2020 season.
Wisconsin has lost to Ohio State eight consecutive times, with three coming in the B1G Championship Game. The last time both teams met on the field, Ohio State defeated Wisconsin 34-21 in the 2019 B1G Championship Game.
