Wisconsin WR Aron Cruickshank responds to reports he's entered transfer portal
Wisconsin’s list of departing players does indeed appear to be growing.
With a strong list of players heading to the NFL Draft, a surprising report surfaced on Wednesday. That report indicated sophomore receiver and speedster Aron Cruickshank is now in the transfer portal.
Later Wednesday evening, Cruickshank took to Twitter to address that report. He confirmed that he has hit the portal with two remaining years of eligibility while also citing “a lot is going on.” He did not elaborate on what that could mean:
A lot is going on for me right now but yes it is true that I have entered my name in the transfer portal with 2years of eligibility and a redshirt, I will like to thank my coaches and most of all my teammates I hope you all the best. RESPECT MY DECISION !

When it comes to the transfer portal, players simply submitting their names and investigating their options does not mean they are 100% leaving their current school. However, it currently sounds like Cruickshank is expecting to leave the program.
If that is the case, hopefully, Cruickshank is able to find the right spot moving forward in his career. As always, best of luck to the young receiver for whichever path he selects moving forward.
