Wisconsin's Brad Davison, former Minnesota guard Marcus Carr share cool March Madness moment
March Madness is all about the moments. A lot of times, those come in last-second shots, come-from-behind wins and impossible upsets. But one moment on Sunday won’t be seen on any highlight reels.
On Sunday night, Wisconsin’s season ended following a loss to Iowa State in the Round of 32. Immediately after, Texas took on Purdue with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line.
As Wisconsin’s Brad Davison left the floor, he saw Texas guard and former Minnesota star Marcus Carr waiting to hit the court for pre-game warmups. The two had a brief exchange that was still pretty cool for the former rivals.
“Good luck, bud,” Davison said to Carr as the two embraced. Carr responded by saying, “Hell of a career.”

Unfortunately for both Carr and Davison, the season ended on Sunday night. In addition to the Badgers’ loss, Texas fell 81-71 to Purdue.
While the play on the floor tends to overshadow everything else during March, this was a moment between to former rivals that should be seen. It’s a what March is all about.
