Wisconsin's Caesar Williams proud to finally haul in first INT vs. Northwestern
While many across the B1G want to forget the 2020 season, for Wisconsin safety Caesar Williams there is one particular play he wanted to remember.
The Badgers lost to Northwestern 17-7 last season. During the game, the Wisconsin defense was tagged with 4 pass interference calls, one of which negated an interception by Williams.
Well, on Saturday the Badgers manhandled the Wildcats at Camp Randall Stadium and sent them back south to Evanston with a 35-7 loss. And Williams recorded a pick during the first quarter that put a halt to the Wildcats passing attack.
It was the memory of last year that stuck in his head.
Robbed me last year… Made sure that one counted 😉

Northwestern came out firing. They recorded six first downs on their first drive, targeting Williams on a pair of passes that went for 16 yards. But the interception by Williams changed the tone, and the Wildcats were never able to recover.
The Badgers defense have now kept four opponents from reaching the end zone this season. The Northwestern touchdown was scored by their defense.
No. 20 Wisconsin hosts Nebraska on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Camp Randall Stadium with a 2:30 PM scheduled kickoff.
