Wisconsin's Chucky Hepburn carried to locker room after scary injury vs. ISU
Wisconsin is locked into a tight, low-scoring affair against Iowa State in the second round of the NCAA TOurnament. Unfortunately, the status of guard Chucky Hepburn will be up in the air after he left the court following a scary-looking injury.
During the first half, Hepburn appeared to severely tweak his left ankle when he planted to try and elevate. It was a non-contact injury with Hepburn in visible pain for a while.
Hepburn was initially helped to the floor and was then carried by some staff members off the court and to the locker room.
On the TV replay it looked like Wisconsin’s Chucky Hepburn rolled the left ankle in rebounding. Didn’t see any contact. Crowd got pretty quiet. “We love Chucky” was one chant. The fresh PG was helped off the court. He did look like he was in pain. pic.twitter.com/sb2Kw1Feqc

Hepburn was scoreless at the time of the injury but has been a key piece for the Badgers all season long. Getting him back for the second half would be big for the Badgers.
