Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ now has officially joined the exclusive 1,000 rebounds club.
On Saturday, the Badgers hosted Grambling State in their second-to-last non-conference matchup of the season. Happ needed a handful of rebounds to eclipse the milestone and he hit the mark in the second half of the contest.
Happ became the fourth player sine 1982 to record that many boards and is just the 15th player in B1G history to reach the milestone. That’s pretty elite company.

Happ is having a spectacular senior season with the Badgers, averaging a double-double on the year with 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He’s also averaging five assists per game this year. He leads Wisconsin in all three categories.
Wisconsin is ranked No. 16 in the country and entered Saturday’s game with a 9-2 record.
Earlier this week, Happ was named to the Oscar Robertson Award Midseason Watch List, presented to the top player in college basketball.
