This is a nice way to start off a rivalry game.

Wisconsin has struggled to score points recently, but the Badgers got on the board thanks to a 41-yard touchdown run by Garret Groshek to tie the game at 7-7.

Here’s the play:

It doesn’t get much easier than that.

Big plays are a must for Wisconsin, who is missing multiple key members of its offense for various reasons. The Badgers have scored just 20 combined points in their last three games entering the day.

However, it looks like Paul Chryst’s offense may have turned a corner. Graham Mertz is 6-for-7 to start this game and Groshek has 74 total yards.

Groshek entered the day with 30 carries for 105 yards and zero touchdowns.

It’s been a tough season for both of these teams as each has dealt with COVID-19 throughout the season.

It’s currently unclear if either or both of these teams will play in a bowl game, but clarity on that should come at some point on Sunday.
