After Wisconsin won the Duke’s Mayo Bowl over Wake Forest, they had an unfortunate but funny incident happen.
While some Badgers players were dancing with the trophy, it slipped out of quarterback Graham Mertz’s hands and shattered on the ground.

As the video shows, the music stopped right as the trophy hit the ground and broke.
During head coach Paul Chryst’s postgame press conference, he was asked about the incident and jokingly said that he wanted all his players to have a piece of the trophy:

As for the game itself, the Badgers came back from a 14-point deficit to win against Wake Forest, 42-28. They were also aided by Demon Deacons quarterback Sam Hartman throwing four interceptions on four consecutive drives in the fourth quarter.
The Badgers got to finish their season at 4-3 (with their second straight win) while the Demon Deacons finish theirs at 4-5.
