After a brief dry spell, Michigan’s 2022 recruiting class is back on a hot streak.

The Wolverines picked up their second commitment of the day on Saturday afternoon when it received a pledge from 3-star linebacker Aaron Alexander.

Here’s his announcement:

Earlier in the day, Michigan added 3-star running back CJ Stokes to its 2022 recruiting class. Prior to today’s pickups, Michigan hadn’t received a commitment since April 20.

Alexander is the No. 78 athlete in the class, per 247Sports. He does not currently have a Composite rating.

Michigan now has nine commitments in the class of 2022. The Wolverines have the No. 23 class in the country and the No. 4 class in the Big Ten, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Alexander is an in-state product and attends Belleville High School. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds. He’s the fourth commitment from the state of Michigan in this class so far.
