Friday has provided a boost for Purdue’s recruiting class with the Boilermakers adding two commitments entering the weekend.

The first came from Roman Pitre, a three-star athlete out of Louisiana. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 215 lbs., it will be interesting to see how he is utilized at Purdue.

The second commitment of the day comes from Terence Thomas, an athlete and wide receiver out of Youngstown, Ohio. According to 247 Sports, Thomas is a three-star prospect and the No. 33 player regardless of position out of Ohio for the 2022 cycle.

Thomas committed to Purdue over offers from Boston College, North Carolina State, Kentucky, and others. He is listed at 5-foot-11 and 185 lbs.
Thomas has definitely shown some playmaking abilities, both on offense and as a return man throughout high school. He is now the seventh commitment for Purdue’s 2022 class with four-star Indiana QB Brady Allen currently headlining the class.

Hopefully, Jeff Brohm and the Boilermakers can build off this bit of momentum on the recruiting trail.
