Ayo Dosunmu's watch party had incredible reaction after being picked by hometown Chicago Bulls
Former Illinois guard Ayo Dosunmu won’t have to go far to start his NBA career.
After three excellent seasons with the Illini, Dosunmu was selected with the No. 38 overall pick by the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.
Dosunmu attended Morgan Park High School in Chicago and is a native of the Windy City.
After the pick was announced, his watch party had an awesome reaction:

Dosunmu also joins an exclusive club alongside former MVP Derrick Rose:

“I know I’m a first-round talent, but you can never control what God has planned for you,” Dosunmu said after being picked by the Bulls. “He wanted me to play for my home city.”
The Bulls have established guards like Zach LaVine and Tomas Satoransky already on the roster, as well as former lottery pick Coby White. But there should still be an opportunity for Dosunmu to earn some early playing time, which makes this an even better story.
Dosunmu was one of six former Big Ten players to be picked in the second round on Thursday night. Former Michigan wing Franz Wagner was the lone ex-Big Ten player to in the first round.
Dosunmu is expected to begin his Bulls career at Summer League in Las Vegas in mid-August.
