Utah won’t face UCLA on the football field until the end of October, but the Bruins team signed a condolence card for the Utes and the family of Utah player Aaron Lowe, who was killed over the weekend in a shooting.
The Utah Football team took to Twitter to express their gratitude.
This is incredibly meaningful, @UCLAFootball. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. #22forever pic.twitter.com/tExGPNy9hy

Lowe was fatally shot early Sunday in Salt Lake City. The shooting death comes less than a year after teammate and friend Ty Jordan was killed in an accidental shooting.
According to Salt Lake City police, the 21-year old Lowe died on the scene in a shooting at a house party in the city’s Sugar House neighborhood.
Lowe was a defensive back in his third season at Utah. He had made appearances in each of the Utes’ first four games this season.
Just last month, Lowe was voted the first recipient of the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship, created to honor the former Utah running back who died in December.
Utah has the weekend off and will travel to southern California to take on USC on Saturday, Oct. 9 for a 7:00 PM kickoff.
